Ski Trails Grooming Reports

5:45am – Heading out to the Pinder system now. 8:30 update – Pinder system completed and heading to Kinsmen 2k and Red Pine next. 11:30 am update – Kinsmen 2k and Red Pine are done now. That will be it for today.

The trails are soft in spots and rutted from fat bike tires riding while the trails were closed. They are currently rideable with a low psi (recommended 3 psi as a MAX). Ridge run, flow, wave, yoda are soft and chewed up but rideable. Low pressure people and stick to the middle of the trail! Squishy, Rootin’ and Rootin’ 2, Jedi, Bermies, Anymal, Wedding Crash, Nemesis, Final Boss are good to go – still low pressure- 3 psi. Red Snowshoe trail and Voyager trail out to the snowmachine bridge are rock solid! Ski trail is soft in the middle but hard on the left hand side. Bundle up she’s chilly out!!  Reminder that skiers have the right of way on the ski trails. Please respect other trail users 

Update 4:30 pm…The Mabel flats were groomed today. 6:00 am – Very cold this morning so we’ll just be cleaning up the skate lanes, starting with the Pinder. 8:30 am Update – The Pinder and Kinsmen 2k have had the skate lanes renovated. Trails are hard packed so leaving the rest as is. Have a great day!

5:15 Grooming today will be Pinder system, Kinsmen 2k , Crystal , Red Pine. 8:00 UPDATE: Pinder system and 2k Kinsmen finished. Heading out to Crystal system shortly. 10:30 UPDATE: Crystal system finished. Hiawatha extension machine packed but still CLOSED! Heading to Red Pine . 12:30 UPDATE: Red Pine system finished. 5:30 AM: Heading out to groom The Pinder, Kinsmen Lighted, then Red Pine! 11:30 AM Update: Pinder, Kinsmen Lighted, and Red Pine have been groomed with all the extensions. Heading out now to tackle the Crystal! Reminder that the Hiawatha Extension remains closed. However, with the fresh snow and colder temperatures, we hope to have it open soon! 4:30 PM Update: The Mable Flats was groomed this afternoon.

Please note that the groomed Fat Bike trails will be closed today due to the high level of snow. We ask that you stay off the trails to avoid damaging them while they are soft. We’ve completed 1 pass of grooming and will be heading out again shortly for another. We will update you when the trails are ready to ride! 

6AM: Wow! 20cm of fresh snow. Heading out to groom the Pinder! Kinsmen Lighted and Red Pine will follow. 8:20AM Update: The Pinder and extensions are done and in good condition, although a little soft for skating. Heading to the Kinsmen Lighted and Red Pine shortly! 11:30AM Update: Red Pine and extensions are groomed. Heading to Crystal Shortly.
