Ski Trails Grooming Reports

5:10 Renovating all skate lanes today starting with Pinder system, 2k Kinsmen, Red Pine, and Crystal system. 9:00 UPDATE : Pinder system 2k Kinsmen and Red Pine skate lanes renovated. Heading out to Crystal trails.10:30 UPDATE: Crystal system skate lanes renovated with the exception of the Hiawatha extension due to inability to turn around with Can Am side by side. All tracks are in great shape. Have a great day !

5:30am – Grooming Pinder, Red Pine, Crystal Creek and Kinsmen 2k today. 8:30am update – The full Pinder system has been completed as well as the Kinsmen 2k. Heading to Red Pine next. 10:30am update – Red Pine is completed, Crystal system is next. 1:30pm update – Crystal creek system including all extensions has been groomed. Enjoy the fresh powder!

While we wait for the snow dog to be back up and running (should be this week), we thank our amazing volunteers who are keeping the groomed fat bike trails in excellent shape  @hiawathahighlandswinter Recommended 2.5 PSI and 4.5” tires. There is a pretty solid base underneath the fresh snow. UPDATE: The entire Crystal has been dragged with a tire! (1230 pm)

6:00 am – Grooming Pinder and Kinsmen 2k this morning. 8:30am update – Pinder system is done. Heading to the Kinsmen 2k now. 9:45am update – Kinsmen 2k is done. Heading to Red Pine and that will be it for today. 11:30am update – Red Pine is completed. Have a great day!

5:00 Light snowfall overnight . Renovating skate lanes starting with Pinder ,2k Kinsmen Red Pine and Crystal system. 7:45 UPDATE: Skate lanes on Pinder and 2k Kinsmen finished. Heading to Red Pine. 9:00 UPDATE : Red Pine skate lanes renovated. Heading out to Crystal system soon. 11:00 UPDATE: Crystal system skate lanes renovated. Have a good day !

6AM: Trails remain hard and tracks in good condition with minor wear. Will be dressing skate lanes starting with the Pinder, then on to the Red Pine and Crystal. For those with kids, I also plan to regroom the Ball Field and the cutoffs before 10:00AM! 9AM Update: Pinder and extension skate lanes have been dressed. Kinsmen Lighted has been regroomed, as well as the ballfield and cutoffs. Heading out to the Red Pine followed by the Crystal shortly. 11:45AM: Trails are done! Enjoy!

6AM: Light dusting of snow. Tracks in good shape. Heading out to renovate skate lanes in the usual order. Pinder with extensions, Kinsmen Lighted, Red Pine system, and Crystal system. 10:30AM Update – All skate lanes have been touched up. Trails are in great shape!
