
The Kinsmen Centre and Canteen
Before hitting the trails, stop in to the Kinsmen Centre to pick up your trail pass and rental equipment.
The Kinsmen Centre is open during Hiawatha Highlands’ Hours of Operation and available for warming. There are washrooms, tables and cubbies for storage of belongings*.
The Canteen offers warm beverages, snacks, baked goods and souvenirs.
*Please note Hiawatha Highlands is not responsible for lost or stolen goods.

Parking
Parking is available in multiple locations at Hiawatha Highlands.

Use the Kinsmen parking area for quick access to the Kinsmen Centre and the Crystal Creek System.
Use the Pinder parking lot to access to the Pinder Trail System.
Use the Club House parking lot to access the Red Pine and/or Crystal Creek systems.
Please note:
• Do not park in the Bible Fellowship Church parking lot.
• A valid trail pass is required to access all trails. Stop at the Kinsmen Centre to get your pass prior to selecting your final parking location.

Equipment Rentals
Hiawatha Highlands offers a full range of equipment rentals, making it easy for everyone to get outside and enjoy the trails.
Stop in to rent skis, boots, and poles, snowshoes, fat bikes and helmets, head lamps, as well as adaptive equipment including sit-skis and ski trailers.
Equipment is available in a variety of sizes for both children and adults.

Waxing Service
Properly waxed skis make a big difference!
Our experienced staff will wax your skis so you can enjoy the best day on the trail.
Drop them off in the Kinsmen Centre for our team to work their magic.

FAQs
Are Dogs permitted on the trails?
November to April the trails are groomed and maintained for skiers, snowshoers and fat bikers. Dogs are prohibited on the trails, except for on the Mabel Lake System.
May I walk at Hiawatha Highlands?
Walkers are prohibited on the trails from November to April. The trail systems at Hiawatha Highlands are available for public use May to October only.
November to April, the trails are operated by Hiawatha Highlands and the Soo Finnish Nordic Ski Club. This non-profit organization invests significantly in grooming and maintaining the ski trails, and walking causes damage.
What are the different types of Season’s passes?
There are three sport options at Hiawatha and they all have their respective Season’s Passes. As a bonus, Ski Season’s Pass holders also get season-long access to Fat Bike and Snowshoe Trails.
