Looking for a unique and fun birthday party for your kids? There’s nothing more fun than playing in the snow! Keep the kids entertained and give the gift of an outdoor adventure for your next birthday party. You bring the food, drink and cake, and we’ll organize the rest!

Know Before You Go
• Birthday parties must be booked in advance. Parties may be booked Saturdays between 2pm and 8pm or Sundays between 12pm and 6pm.
• Parties are best for groups of 10 or less.
• Children must be 6 years or older, and be accompanied by sufficient adults for safe supervision. We recommend a minimum of one adult per five children.
• Your indoor party space is not private. While we reserve you a table in the Kinsmen Centre, other customers may be using the space at the same time.
Private Event Rental
Looking for a unique way to bring your group together this winter? Hiawatha Highlands offers private cross-country skiing and snowshoeing experiences for families, friends, workplaces, teams, and other groups looking to enjoy the trails together.
Your experience can be as simple or as customized as you’d like. Head out on the trails as a group, add a lesson for those new to skiing or snowshoeing, or explore Hiawatha with one of our guides. After your time outside, continue the experience inside the Kinsmen Centre with a social, refreshments, or a meal—organized by Hiawatha Highlands or brought in by your group.
Private Event Rental can include:
• Trail passes for your group
• Cross-country ski or snowshoe rentals
• Private cross-country ski or snowshoe lesson
• Guided trail experience
• Use of the Kinsmen Centre for a social or gathering
• Food and refreshments organized by Hiawatha Highlands
• Option to bring in your own food or catering
• Hiawatha Highlands staff support to help coordinate your experience
Private group experiences start at $45.99 per person and can be customized based on your group size and selected activities. Advance booking is required. Contact us to start planning your private Hiawatha Highlands experience.
Photography
Looking for a unique location for your next family photo, engagement or wedding shoot, or for capturing a special moment? Hiawatha Highlands is an excellent backdrop to your photoshoot. Favourite locations include the “Cathedral” on the Pinder Trail and the hill overlooking Farmer Bob’s homestead.
Photography Location Fee includes:
• Trail pass for Photographer and their client(s)
• Transportation to and from Photography Location
• Up to two hours for the photoshoot
• Designated staff member to support the shoot and manage skiing traffic
• Repair/grooming of trail post-session
The Photography Location package is $450 +HST. Fees may change depending on location(s) selected. Bookings must be made at least 14 days in advance.
