Women on Skis Clinic January 19, 2025 10am-3pm
Estimated Itinerary:
- 10:00am: Arrival, greeting, group introductions
- If you require rentals, please come a few minutes early so we can get you geared up and ready to ski.
- If you’ve got your own equipment you can place it on the racks outside
- Morning ski session
- Break into groups, head out to ski! Although this isn’t as formal as a real ski lesson we are sure you’ll all learn something from your group leads/sweeps or from each other!
- Break (lunch, treats, warm up, and draw for prizes)
- It is advisable to bring a spare set of socks, mitts, etc., so you are prepared (warm and dry) to ski again in the afternoon!
- Afternoon ski session
- 3:00pm: Wrap up (draw for door prize(s), winner must be present to receive the prize)
Groups:
1x Beginner Classic – Best for individuals who are new to nordic skiing (capped at 8 individuals)
2x Novice Classic – Best for individuals who have some experience nordic skiing, but could use some additional technique work (capped at 9 individuals each)
3x Intermediate Classic – Best for individuals with moderate experience and are comfortable with techniques such as diagonal stride, polling, etc. (capped at 8 individuals each)
1x Novice Skate – Best for individuals who have some ski experience (classic) but may be new to skate skiing (capped at 8 individuals)
1x Intermediate Skate – Best for individuals who have moderate experience classic or skate skiing OR have a high-level of fitness (capped at 8 individuals)
