Three Men and a Groomer Ski Reports, Uncategorized

Today we were able to groom a fresh skate lane and two fresh classic tracks on the Pinder 4k, and a skate lane and single classic track on each of its three extensions.  Unfortunately the Ginzu groomer went down near the end of the Pinder and we were only able to roll a skate lane on the kinsmen 2k. The groomer should be back up and running for a full groom tomorrow!

Red Pine system now has fresh skate lane all around; this includes the main 5k, Fish hatchery 5k and coldwater 2.5k.

Finally got some snow to start playing with! The Kinsmen 2k was groomed around 9 this morning but as the snow has been falling all day the tracks may be pretty covered by now.  Working on roll packing the pinder system and if all goes well should have fresh skate lanes and tracks by sun up tomorrow!

Owl Warning !

Uncategorized

Yesterday, February 22, at 9:30pm, a skier was attacked by the Barred Owl on the 2k trail, more or less across the road from Farmer Bob. Please refrain from hats with pom poms or tassels and ponytails. The winging action of these items is a huge attractant to the owl.
